MEET WOLVERINE
One small dog changed everything.
Wolverine, Joseph Ballard’s black Pomeranian, had been beside him for years.
As Wolverine grew older, Joseph began looking more closely at the choices he was making for him—especially the food he placed in his bowl every day.
Kibble. Raw food. Fresh food.
He explored the options available, but kept coming back to the same question:
Could I care for him better?
JOSEPH’S STORY
Two worlds became one purpose.
Long before founding The Noble Beast, Joseph’s path had already connected him to both animal care and food.
He began his career as a veterinary technician before attending Le Cordon Bleu, where he graduated with honors near the top of his class.
His culinary career eventually led him into executive kitchens and the discipline of professional hospitality.
But years later, it was Wolverine who brought those two worlds together.
Animal care and culinary craft.
THE TURNING POINT
Stopped looking for the answer. Started cooking it.
Joseph approached Wolverine’s food the way a chef approaches food for someone he cares about, started with recognizable ingredients, understanding why each ingredient is there, prepare it thoughtfully, and never treat the meal as an afterthought.
What began in one kitchen, for one dog, became the beginning of something much larger.
